6 DAYS IN VRBNIK / JUNE 2013
Do you know what could be the coolest thing now? What about an opportunity of traveling the world, visiting beautiful cities, villages, and enjoying the different experiences for a few days? Taking steps on lovely historic stones, eating local delicacies in small hidden restaurants, tasting wonderful wines, and finally, just lying in the sunshine and enjoying the view?
I bet you would give this chance a shot :-)
We have taken a trip to the gorgeous Croatian island of Krk during the summer, in June with a couple of friends, visiting the fishing village of Vrbnik with its small old town. Our holiday took an adventurous vibe then, since we had no knowledge about the local monuments, and started to discover everything on our own.
The old houses, little historic streets, the port proved to be astonishingly pretty. After we got to know that Vrbnik is a traditional Croatian wine-maker region, we decided to taste the local wine as well - which was equally fine.
All of the legends about the hospitality of Croatian people and the beauty of their country is true, we could only suggest this region for holidays.
